EMDR

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a treatment for individuals that can't seem to get past painful life experiences, memories or beliefs. Many clients find EMDR extremely helpful in shifting negative self-beliefs into positive beliefs, healing emotional distress and feeling empowered by once destabilizing experiences. EMDR was developed in the 1980's and since has been heavily researched for the treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. EMDR is one of the most effective treatments for resolving traumatic life experiences.

EMDR can be used as a treatment to address:

• Disturbing memories
• Traumatic Events
• PTSD
• Grief
• Anxiety
• Physical, Emotional, and Sexual Abuse
• Depression
