Family Counseling helps by:

Couples Therapy

All couples experience conflict in their relationships. The purpose of couple’s therapy is to stimulate self-reflection and to facilitate healthy, honest communication between individuals. With the right guidance and therapeutic approach, it's possible to take the first step and make the effort to save your relationship. My approach towards couples’ therapy is oriented not only towards solving the problems you may be facing with each other, but to improve the quality of communication skills and aid you in having better conflict resolution skills. With resolution of conflict, many couples regain their connection, rekindle their romance, and derive even greater satisfaction from their relationship.

Children and Adolescents

I am dedicated to working with children, adolescents and young adults to help them overcome and resolve their challenges by developing healthy coping skills. When working with children and adolescents, I believe strongly that parental involvement is critical to their progress. I assist parents in improving their parenting skills and teach them techniques that support their child’s therapeutic process. I believe it is important for the therapist, child and parent to work together as a team and identify the needs, strengths and resources of the family to enable them to move forward in their lives.
